1. Go to Classroom
2. Click on My Classroms
3. Select view As Administrator
4. Select the Activities tab
5. Select Add Quiz
6. Name: Enter a name for your quiz

Introduction:

• Provide an introduction to the quiz.
• State what is the test designed to cover,
• Write concise directions, and
• Weight the quiz in relation to their final grade.

Timing: If you don’t provide any dates, the quiz is considered available at any time.

ATTEMPTS

Number of attempts allowed: From the drop down menu, choose the number of attempts a user can write the test.

Time delay between attempts: Set in terms of minutes

GRADES

Grading Method: Select how the quiz should be graded

Highest grade – the highest grade of all attempts taken

Average grade – the average grade of all attempts taken

First attempt – only the grade of the first attempt is taken

Last attempt – only the grade of the last attempt is taken

Decimal digits in grades – from the drop down menu, select up to 4 decimal points when viewing test results in the completion report.

FEEDBACK

Written feedback based on the percentage that the student achieves.

PASSING MARK

Register the threshold (percentage) passing mark that you would like your students to achieve. This will be registered in the completion report.
