You can become a teacher in the following ways:

• you can be invited to become a teacher of an existing classroom by its administrator
• you can create your own course and assign the teacher role to yourself
• you can purchase a syndicated course from the marketplace and assign the teacher role to youself

You are by default a teacher in your classroom which you choose while you creating the classroom.

To assign the role of teacher to yourself/others

1. Go to the Classrooms
2. Select view As Teacher
3. Go into the classroom where you want to be a teacher
4. Go to the Overview tab
5. Click on Invite
6. Select yes next to the question Do you want to be a teacher of the course?
7. Click under the name of the person you want to add as a teacher
8. Click on Send Invitation
