How do I create a quiz?

Create quizzes to assess the students knowledge of the course content of your classroom.To create a quiz:

1. Go to Classroom main menu

2. Click on My Classrooms

3. Select view As Teacher

4. Choose your desired classroom

5. Click on Activities tab

6. Click on Add Quiz

7. Provide the following details on the Create Quiz :

You can either define the settings (Except for the Grading Scheme) while creating a quiz or edit it later.

8. Click on Show Options for specifying the following information

Number of Attempts: Number of attempts the students can take the quiz
Grading Scheme: Select how the quiz should be graded
Highest Mark: The highest mark of all attempts is taken
Average Mark: the average mark of all attempts is taken
Median Mark: The marks for all the attempts are sorted and the middle most mark is taken
First attempt Mark:only the mark of the first attempt is taken
Last attempt Mark:only the mark of the last attempt is taken
Choose Show Answers if the answers must be visible to the students while viewing their attempts
If you want the quiz to be included in the completion report then choose Yes to Include Quiz in Completion Report
If the quiz is part of the completion report, then the Minimum passing mark must be provided
Also provide the Feedback if desired for the Passing and Failing mark

9. Click on Next

10. Click on How to Add Questions for more information

11. Once you have added questions, Click on Next

12. Provide the duration for the quiz availability to the students

13. Set the Time limit if you want the Quiz to have a time limit

14. Choose Randomize to shuffle the order of questions for every attempt

15. Visible determines if the quiz is visible to the students and included in the completion report

16. Click on Submit
