A classroom is a space in Odijoo, which contains:
- a newly created course or an imported .ppt course,
- a classroom administrator,
- teacher(s), student(s) and,
- classroom activities, such as quizzes, classroom discussions, uploaded files, and,
- completion (grade) reports.
There are four parts to the composition of a classroom:
- Overview – provides a course description, any news or announcements a teacher would like published and a listing of all students currently enrolled in the classroom.
- Activities – Quizzes and Discussion Topics available to students to help them engage with the course material. All
classroom activities are optional and it is up to a classroom’s administrator
and/or teachers to determine which activities they would like to utilize in their
classroom.
- Resources - Files uploaded by a teacher to distribute to students. The
purpose of these files can ranges from helping guide students through the
classroom (i.e. a course syllabus) to supplementing
students’ learning.
- Completion Report –
are the report cards which teachers create to grade and track student
performance in a classroom. Completion reports can be used to grade quizzes,
discussion topics and is used to set a final class grade.
